MOTED's main reason of existence is to improve and develop Powered Two Wheelers Sector in Turkey. By acting as an agent, co-operating with local and central authorities, we are representing the PTW industry and society.
As a representative we aim;
• To be in touch with international associations, funds and programmes for betterment of standards of Turkish PTW sector
• To develop and implement new projects/support existing projects
• To collect sectoral data, analyze and construct infrastructural, legal, technical, environmental and financial policies for promoting safe PTW usage
• To inform public more efficiently on PTW usage
• To defend fair competition in PTW market |

MOTED was founded to spread out motorcycle usage in majority of Turkey as it deserves. With its convenient climate, geo-structure, and population of mostly younger age of generation, Turkey is the candidate to be one of the primary countries for motorcycle industry in the world.
Also motorcycle has the potential to provide so many solutions for the expectations in Turkey, such as overcoming traffic jam, parking space problems, transportation economy, facilitating weekend trips etc.
To ride through the goal, MOTED has started all kind of local and international attempts / activities to create an environment which will highlight awareness and acceptance of riding advantages in Turkey.
We have the belief and power of cooperation and support of motorcycle friendly population in Turkey, to wipe away the obstacles still standing for many many years in front of the sector. |
