The only motorcycle fair of Turkey Motoplus 2010 was realized between the dates of February 25 – 28, 2010 at İstanbul Fair Center. With 119 participant firms exhibiting their brands and 60.000 visitors, the fair got an interest more than expected.
While some producers were reluctant to join the European fairs, their attentance to Motoplus is a pleasant improvement for Turkish industry.
Also Yamaha as one of the MOTED member has choosen Motoplus, Turkey for its "World Launch of The new model" which was another important speciality of the fair.
Free seminars for motorcyclists and interested visitors, ride shows by world champions were attractive activities in the fair.
MOTED took place with a private stand, placed at the main entrance hall and association representatives had the chance of face to face contact with many motorcyclists and visitors.

MOTED’s commitee of Social Responsibility Projects is now working on an “awareness” campaign. Main aim is to create/increase awareness of motorcycles as a transportation vehicle and emphasize adventages of PTWs.

Three main steps to this project are;

• Advertisement campaign (news, outdoor and radio)
   
• PR activities (press meeting and interwievs)
   
• Training of commercial users of PTWs.
