MOTED (abbreviation for Motorcycle Industry Association) founded in 2003, is an sectoral association bringing together companies that import, distribute, market, or produce/assemble PTW units in Turkey, aiming to act together in and for the PTW sector in Turkey.
Members of MOTED represent 15 registered brands and almost all major international brands active in Turkey. MOTED is located in Istanbul.

MOTED was founded to spread out motorcycle usage in majority of Turkey as it deserves. With its convenient climate, geo-structure, and population of mostly younger age of generation, Turkey is the candidate to be one of the primary countries for motorcycle industry in the world.
Also motorcycle has the potential to provide so many solutions for the expectations in Turkey, such as overcoming traffic jam, parking space problems, transportation economy, facilitating weekend trips etc.
To ride through the goal, MOTED has started all kind of local and international attempts / activities to create an environment which will highlight awareness and acceptance of riding advantages in Turkey. We have the belief and power of cooperation and support of motorcycle friendly population in Turkey, to wipe away the obstacles still standing for many many years in front of the sector.
